Charger Details
Rivian sells its own 48A Wall Charger that is purpose-built for R1T and R1S. It integrates with the Rivian app for charge scheduling and monitoring. We install the Rivian unit or any J1772 charger.
Rivian R1T and R1S have very large batteries (135-149 kWh). A 200A panel is strongly recommended. At 11.5 kW, a full charge from 10% takes roughly 12 hours. Learn about ESA permits.
